ROOTED IN OUR COMMUNITY
My decision to seek a seat on the Board of Education in 2017 and now is grounded in my deep belief in the importance of civic responsibility and engagement. My family has made Croton our home for the past 20 years, and I am thankful that I have been able to model this belief and make meaningful contributions to this community through my BOE service.
A COMMITMENT TO STUDENTS & FAMILIES
I would like to earn your vote on May 19 and continue my Board service, focused on the following:
ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE FOR EVERY STUDENT: Ensuring our schools are a place where our students are challenged academically, where we are providing equitable access to opportunities, and where everyone in our school community feels a sense of belonging and safety.
SUPPORT OUR SCHOOLS: Be a strong advocate for the needs of our schools and making sure our students have what they need to succeed.
THOUGHTFUL COLLABORATION: A commitment to listening to and reflecting on the varied perspectives of our parents, community members, staff, and students, and making thoughtful, well-researched and collaborative decisions that put the needs of our students first.
FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY WITH PURPOSE: Delivering a budget that aligns with our vision and values while making prudent fiscal decisions that provide a sustainable, responsible foundation for taxpayers.
